I don't want any kids in the foreseeable future though, because I don't feel ready for the responsibility and I don't feel I can take on that responsibility anytime soon. If you wait to become "ready for the responsibility," it's very likely you miss the chance to have kids. It's not something you can be fully prepared for. With kids, you learn as you go.
