| KCF0107 05/30/19 12:42:56 PM #313: | The Gardens Between for XB1 I was wary of spending $20 on this, so I decided to try it out via Game Pass. It's probably the third-best game that I beat for the first time this year (after Minit and Uncharted 4), so I intend to support The Voxel Agents by buying it on Steam or something in the future. I tend to go into games mostly blind, and I was surprised that it was on-rails and you only use three buttons all game (well, two joystick directions and a button). While I am curious to see someone attempt to do a game like this using Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons free-range dual controls, the on-rails worked out excellently with this game. While the puzzles were not overly complicated, I felt a great sense of accomplishment completing virtually every level. Add in fantastic atmosphere and a dialogue-less, non-lingering, bittersweet story that hits deep, and you have quite the game on your hands. --- KCF can't actually be a real person but he is - greengravy https://imgur.com/VfpY7tg ...
