Brexit was rushed into and that's why it's such a mess. Neither side really spelled it out correctly and the basic options on the ballot were too vague. They needed a third option along the lines of "leave but only with a deal", to go along with the remain and leave options. Also, it should have required a stronger majority than just being over 50% for a thing that's so far-reaching in a number of ways. I think if they're required 60% and it passed, then okay. It's just a bunch of old people who can't accept that their country sold itself out for France and Belgium 100 years ago. The Empire put a gun in its mouth the moment it entered WWI.
