As my friend said when he was a pizza delivery person: Waiters just bring your food to a table at the restaurant. He brings it literally to your door. Why would you not tip him?

Rode around with him one day, we talked about stuff while he was going around w/ his deliveries. I remember one pizza he just left in the back seat for an hour while he picked up and delivered multiple other homes' orders. I asked about it, and he said the house that one was going to hadn't ever tipped him, on multiple occasions. :D

I hate paying a tip for delivery, so I always do carry out and drive there myself. I'd never get delivery and not tip, though.

That didn't happen. He would have been canned on the spot.

For what? Taking over a hour to deliver a pizza? Nah shit happens all the time and I bet only a handful actually call up to complain about it.

This is probably true. Sometimes, especially on busier nights, it can take some time to get pizza. Some people may get mad because they wanted to faster, but I dont think most people call. The ones who do probably would have called, even if they got it in a reasonable time...

Yeah at my brothes place you can get dominos to deliver to his place in as little as 20 minutes but its taken close to an hour before too. So yeah how busy they are and how well they know the area helps.

Yep. Like I have a friend who lives in like Themis weird area. Usually takes then much longer to find the area unless they know it pretty well...
