Not to mention the fact that workers should indeed blame the tipper because if tips didn't exist they would be paying the same or more for their food anyways. The issue is a lot more complicated then "I don't have to tip here, why should I tip there?" When it comes down to it tipping is less about "pay your workers decently" and more about "keeping the restaurant industry afloat". --- I am a senior software engineer. Some people may get mad because they wanted to faster, but I dont think most people call. The ones who do probably would have called, even if they got it in a reasonable time... Yeah at my brothes place you can get dominos to deliver to his place in as little as 20 minutes but its taken close to an hour before too.
