Chapter 7 "is now out of beta and the team has begun finalizing the release build!" as of May of 10th so it presumably shouldn't be too much longer before that arrives. They've also already finished the translation and basic editing on Chapter 8 too but there's been at least a several month gap between all previous Higurashi Steam releases so no guarantee that's even coming out this year.
