I didn't give a shit about all the people buying scratch cards and lotto tickets when i worked in a supermarket, why would i care about lootboxes Because lootboxes are detrimental to video games in general. Weird because I can just not play overwatch or Battlefield or Fifa or whatever and still have way more games than I could ever forseeably play with minimal or no micro transactions. And even if I couldn't and they were more widspread outside of a handful of genres, I still wouldn't care because just because it takes away from a game for me doesn't mean it does for the many other people who clearly either don't let it affect them or enjoy them That's nice.
