I don't like lootboxes very much but I also have no problem with people spending their money how they like. I didn't give a shit about all the people buying scratch cards and lotto tickets when i worked in a supermarket, why would i care about lootboxes

Because lootboxes are detrimental to video games in general.


Weird because I can just not play overwatch or Battlefield or Fifa or whatever and still have way more games than I could ever forseeably play with minimal or no micro transactions. And even if I couldn't and they were more widspread outside of a handful of genres, I still wouldn't care because just because it takes away from a game for me doesn't mean it does for the many other people who clearly either don't let it affect them or enjoy them

That's nice. Have you considered thinking about people other than yourself for a minute or two?
