I do want to bring up the fact that two people can enjoy different games and still be gamers. You're not necessarily going to be playing games together just because you're both gamers.

Like if one person prefers shooters and one prefers RPGs. They're both gamers, but they aren't going to be playing games together likely. On top of the fact many play single player games, sure they can bond over a shared experience, but they aren't actually playing together.

I dont consider this a problem for me because since I am such a hardcore gamer I have a wide variety of interests in genres, so if the other person simply likes playing games in their spare time, chance is we can share a lot of fun times together.

In my experience two people who like playing video games can run into issues. Like who gets to play the game when. Spouse used to hog the heck out of the TV and consoles. Now they work so much that's not a thing really, but trust me it can lead to some mild butting of heads from time to time. x3

Haha I dont really have issue with this myself as I always have plenty of monitors and consoles/PCs

In fact with this future spouse in mind, I have begun building a library of games on a secondary account simply for my significant other to use so I can further this goal.
