Vendors (every single one) allowing debit/credit cards must pay a fee to a merchant service. Those fees are based on whatever contract they've signed. Clearly, they are attempting to discourage the use of cards.

The problem with that is more and more people are moving to cards it seems like.

If you lose it, you cancel and get a new one. If you lose cash, sucks to suck.

Cards are more versatile, you can use them online and IRL.

And some people I know just hate having cash on them for some reason.

wrong it's a lot easier for cards to fall out of a wallet than cash the card slots get loose over time cash isn't going to fall out of your wallet

Actually, that depends on the wallet. Some hold cards better than others.

But they also werent saying one is easier to lose than the other. What they are saying is if you lose cash, its just gone most of the time. But with a card, it doesnt matter because you can cancel or freeze the one you lost. And then order another. Meaning that losing a card doesnt always mean you lost money. Where losing physical money (cash) usually does result in you losing money.
