Id say my biggest issue with the whole thing was I spent almost 90$ on four tickets to a movie plus snacks. The movie didnt work. I didnt get any money back from the movie, I got free tickets to another movie. But Im still out 90$.

At my restaurant if somebody doesnt like their food, I make it right. And I gauge it by each individual customer. If some guys steak is slightly overdone and he lets me know, but hes fine with it, maybe Ill buy him a beer or a dessert. If some guys steak is slightly overdone and hes fucking pissed, Ill offer to cook him a new one or to take it off the bill completely. Thats not enough for him? Ill cook him a new one AND take it off the bill completely.

You do what you need to do to make the customer happy, because you have to realize going out to eat is a luxury for some people. They may only go out to a restaurant that is expensive as the one I work at once, maybe twice a year.

As such, somebody may only be able to get out to the movies a couple times a year. If you fuck their movie going experience up, you cut your losses and make it better for the guests that are unhappy. As I said, I was going full Karen, it should not have been a second thought for them to be like our bad heres your money back.

I mean the amount of money it cost them for a soda and popcorn is literal cents, and the candy is probably about 40 cents each for them.
