Because it cost what 4x the price if he would have gotten it at the store instead? At the very least he should be given the item at cost.

I had a Karen moment at the movies also. Went to see guardians 2 (maybe 1 don't remember) and right before the movie started (after the credits) they just shut it off and said there was some issue with the film and they couldn't play it. Said we would get a replacement ticket for another show time. I wasn't happy with that answer. I instead wanted my money back and I would just go to their competitor right now because hey guess what this is the time I wanted to watch the movie, that's why the fuck I'm here, right now, like respect my time buddy. No issue other than they didn't want to refund me the fee for purchasing it online. Okay manager please. No one is here right now. Cool, you are let's get this figured out. I can't do anything without a manager. Seconds away from swinging on the little smug child but instead I decide to just call corporate. Step back from the booth, google the number, call, explain that this branch doesn't have a manager on duty currently, explain issue, they call the store while I'm on the phone, someone else picks up, they find the manager in seconds, he comes to the booth, full refund and gift card for $20. Corporate takes my email, email with $50 gift card comes a few days later.
