Yes, to a certain extent. There's no goddamn reason some of those classes should be as expensive as they are. Either that or trim down all those bullshit required courses necessary for a degree.

Why not both? Why the fuck did I have to take trigonometry and algebra for my Associate's degree, which was Criminal justice/theories of criminal law? The math doesn't benefit me at all. The department of education says I need it

Also, my bachelor's degree was supposed to be 30k. My student loans that I took out and have to pay back is 35k. I still had to pay out of pocket to complete my degree (another 5k). Various fees and a class I was supposed to take at the beginning of my studies was their claim. Just stupid.

There's no reason schools should be 50k a semester. NONE.

Yeah, I mean I'm sure it certainly should be both. I double majored in Accounting / Logistics. The day I have an interviewer say "Well, you're qualified for the job, but since it says here that you took Physical Geology, we'd like you to tell us how igneous rocks are formed" is the day I'll apologize for bitching about all the filler courses.

I used my GI Bill, so I didnt have to take out any student loans for school. I dont know how anyone can look at the state of costs for universities nowadays and not think it's a total fucking scam.
