So to be clear you guys are upset a storefront is giving you $10 off $15 or more correct?

Good job missing the point. People don't mind the sales, the sale itself isn't an issue for consumers. It is for devs, however. By adding a 10 dollar discount on top of any game out of their own pockets isn't a bad thing, but it also applies to pre-orders. While the devs won't take a hit now, since they are getting the difference straight from Epic, it does devaluate the game.

Instead of going for the original launch price of 60, it now goes for 50. By the time the game launches in 2020 (talking about Bloodlines 2) they are unable to compete on other storefronts for their own game. Lots of people will not buy the game day 1, since the know it was available for 50as pre-order, meaning the dev will lose out on lots of early release sales.

All the while Epic claims to be pro developers, this move actually fucks them over.

But yes, keep playing ignorant.

How many of you keep this same energy at Kohls or Bed Bath & Beyond?

Did Epic retaliate against these devs? Did Epic refuse to let them delist? No?
