Topic	I've got an urge to play through a Pokemon game. Which one?

I finished ORAS but that was... god, 5 years ago already. I liked SM just fine, but I wasn't in the mood for it when it came out so my playthrough fizzled out after the second island. I bought Let's Go for the kids and haven't touched it. I do play Go pretty regularly, but that's not enough. I need something meaty. How was USUM? I didn't keep up with that enough to know how much it changed from SM. Is it anything like the leap from BW to B2W2?
