Many on the left are constantly wondering why our luminaries keep going on Fox in good faith and then get surprised to find the conversation isn't on the up and up. Few institutions have been as destructive to political discourse in America as Fox news and a big part of that is the impulse by politicians to legitimatize them as journalists and default to norms where they should probably leave them alone.
