| Calwings 05/14/19 12:11:04 AM #484: | I haven't talked about new game releases in a while, but I stumbled upon two interesting ones... First off, a new RWBY mobile game just came out in China. A notable plus side that I'm seeing in the comments/reviews on it is that new characters are unlocked through normal gameplay and not through gacha, while the gacha element in the game revolves around equipment, cards, and other unlockables. It also introduces some original characters, like many mobile game adaptations of anime series do. Obviously a downside is that it's only in Chinese and it requires making a Bilibili account, plus it looks like some players think the grind to unlock characters is a bit slow. But a slow grind is still better than it being all up to the whims of the RNG. I might try it if it ever gets an English release, but I probably won't download this Chinese version. https://apps.qoo-app.com/en/app/6751 Also, an English version of an apparently long-running Saint Seiya mobile game (that I had no idea existed) recently came out.
