I've been in a ton of nursing homes and unless you're paying like $80k a year, the level of care you get is abysmal. I remember getting into trouble because a resident spit in my face and shoved feces on me. I said i needed a few minutes away to compose myself and my boss told me no and gave me a verbal warning for near abuse(verbal abuse because i raised my voice). Fuck nursing homes. Amen dude. I was bitten and punched by old dementia patients regularly. Raised my voice a few times but kept my cool physically luckily.
