And he stacks the odds in his favor when he can, by bringing help or giving himself lopsided matches when he was GM, etc. But when he's on his own, he buys into his own hype enough that he thinks he can win without cheating, and does so just enough to be a credible threat that you want to see somebody beat to shut him up. It's a good base. Yeah, most of the other heels should absolutely cheat, but a few Corbins are good to have.
