Nothing about this weird new "nation" philosophy makes any sense, and you can't even keep track of it. USA hasn't been a nation, ever. Its history has simply been too short for that to happen, and in 1913 parties working towards reversing the process took power and turned it into globalist HQ, with only small impediments for them occurring here and there since, and some of the humans manifesting them were mercilessly removed. If Candidate Trump was to be believed, he intended on setting the country back on the path towards nationhood. "Make America Great Again" refers to pre-1913 times, and to a lesser extent (although ironically this is what the public will associate it with, because they weren't alive pre-1913), the 50s-60s, when there was peace and morality reigned on the surface (but below the surface, the path towards today's utter ruin was being prepared).
