They scaled back both animation and video games involving the X-Men while ramping up exposure for the Avengers. They even phased most of them out of Marvel vs Capcom. Granted, they didn't get Unpersoned as badly as the Fantastic Four did, but Marvel really gave up on them pretty hard for the last decade or so. They more or less openly admitted it (I forget which staffer said it, and I forget the exact wording, but it basically boiled down to "If you have two properties, and with one of them to get back 100% of your profits, and for another you only get part of the profits, which one are you going to spend most of your time promoting?"). --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
