(After you return to Celdic on the first night, after you witness the initial argument between merchants, you can talk to a different merchant (the ingredients one who is Becky [Thors Student]'s father with the accent) and it starts a quest where he lets Rean (and the others) run his stall after giving them some rules on how to handle sales of different items.
