Books - You want to have the actual Red Moon Rose Books on you... like Carnelia/Gambler Jack you can trade the full set for an Ultimate Weapon (or rather a Zemurian Ore but same deal). They're obtained the usual Trails way of talking to the right people at the right times. However, if you miss one/some, they can appear at Micht's Pawn Shop in Trista (his inventory is randomized and changes when you enter/exit the shop) The others you could theoretically sell once read/used I think. Read books stay in the Book Tab on the Notebook and "usable" books like recipe ones... shouldn't matter, I think? Once used, of course. Quartz - I actually would consider holding on to them because you can trade them in at the Pawn Shop for the upgraded version - stat quartz that is. Like 3 Action 1s for an Action 2 or something (once Action 2s are otherwise available to you, you can't just trade up to the endgame versions in Chapter 1 lol.) Old Art Quartz though... think you could toss them if you want. They can also be upgraded but instead of upgrading the art it adds a stat bonus to it too. So Upgraded Tear becomes a Tear Quartz that also gives a +250 HP bonus or something.
