Why would they have to buy him off? We've been fellating them for six decades regardless of who's in the Oval Office. Hell, both Obama and Bush were extremely friendly with the royal family. And the Clintons were more than willing to meet and socialize with the crown prince a few months before he was ordering straight-up assassinations.
