As expected, Chapter 5 will be in Fine Park. We're about to set off when Meiko and Emilia show up. They're going to be covering the Pokmon Carnival, and their boss, TV producer Roger Clifford, is with them today. Apparently the girls have mentioned Tim and his detective skills to him. Talking to everyone in the shop reveals little, but Roger seems to be admired; he's even impressed the CEO of GNN. When we mention we're heading to Fine Park, Emilia and Meiko mention they covered the accident that closed it down. Tim asks if he can see the video, and they ask Roger, who says it's no problem, but they're a bit busy today, so it'll have to wait for tomorrow. We head to the park. It's raining out, and the park looks abandoned, but we soon meet an Alakazam. Pikachu asks him if he knows anything, and he says he'll call Pokmon who can help. He sends out a message psychically, and a Stufful, a Loudred, and a Trubbish come out of hiding. Alakazam still doesn't fully trust humans after the accident. Apparently a lot of the Pokmon that had been living there were taken away after the accident. He was at a different park, so he didn't see it, and when he got back, Charizard was already unconscious. Stufful runs away when we approach, so we talk to Loudred instead. He says Charizard was the one who went wild, but it still looked like it was having fun. Charizard was taken away afterward, so they can't talk to it. A Murkrow is of no help, as it didn't live around here and thought of amusement parks as too noisy to begin with--it was a bit noisier, but nothing out of the ordinary. Trubbish couldn't help, either--it moved in after the place was abandoned due to all of the trash. There's fresh Pokmon food out, though, which makes us wonder if someone's trying to help them out. I'm at a loss, though, since Stufful's still too afraid to talk to us and we seem to have examined everything else. Oh, no, wait, there's another section to this area. Smeargle looks so depressed that it's not even acknowledging us. That's enough to trigger a story advancement, though, and we surmise Charizard was affected by R. We can ask the Pokmon about the park and Charizard now. Alakazam says Charizard was normally full of energy, but it seemed limp and listless after the incident. Loudred says Charizard was excited to be the main Pokmon in the parade, and mentions being on announcement duty during the parade--though what Loudred really wants is to be on cannon duty at the Ferris Wheel some day, like another Loudred it looks up to. Trubbish's second-hand information says Charizard was really caring, too. Murkrow got into a fight with Charizard the day before the accident, because it tried to take some of the guests' shiny things and Charizard got mad at it. And we finally find out why Smeargle is so depressed--the busted-up painting was its work. We're tasked with fixing the mural, and Smeargle says it's a picture of everyone who was there before the accident. Charizard, Litten, 2 Skiploom and a Hoppip. Charizard was, of course, looked up to by everyone. Litten was a bit of a troublemaker, but friends with Charizard, and it still lives here, waiting for Charizard's return. The Hoppip and Skiploom left, though. Now we have to search for Litten. We find it in the burned-out donut shop. It confirms that, like the others, it had no memory of its rampage. Stufful finally trusts us enough to talk to us. She was in the parade, and she mentions Charizard's eyes turning red, just like Glalie's did, as well as there being a bunch of flashes of light. That's the third piece of testimony we need to prove it was R, along with the forgetting and the exhaustion. Alakazam reached the conclusion that Charizard was under the influence of an outside force, too, and says that "the other visitor" was probably here to investigate the same thing. Meaning, of course, Harry. Alakazam even refers to him as a man with a Pikachu.
