Write-Up: Was there anyone who ever found this artist attractive? Just curious why she thought a video of her strolling around some city completely nude would be appealing. While I do tolerate a few of her songs, I always get annoyed at her videos because she just always looks like she overcompensates the lip-syncing of her own music. It could be bad acting I guess but it defintely changes how I feel about her music. Outside of the videos I think it's fair to say that she has a rather unique and recognizable voice although there is that one song that everyone thinks is hers but totally isn't. This song did receive a grammy nomination in 2000 for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance but failed to win losing out to Sarah McLachlan. Even after hearing this song a hundred times I honestly still don't know what Alanis is truly thankful for in this video but according to the internet she wrote the song while on a spiritual journey to India so maybe it was some kind of drug? I wonder what kind of drug-laced epiphany makes you want to shoot a music video in the buff but I'm sure it pleased at least a couple of her fans. This is actually the most successful song of hers in the backend of her career or to this date I should say (just in case she ever makes a comeback) which is not likely. ====================================
