==================================== { 878th Place } [70's][ 130th Place] Song: "That's The Way" Band: KC and The Sunshine Band Album: KC and The Sunshine Band ---{ 1975 }--- Genre: Disco Score:[8.1][5.2][5.3][5.3][4.3][5.1][10.1] = [43.4] = [6.2] Video:
Write-Up: Another highly recognizable tune from the 70's imo. I'd guess that Disco was just coming into it's prime when this song came about because it totally sounds like it was deliberately created for Disco. Obviously yeah it was created in Disco fashion but you know when you see or hear something and you just feel like it is supposed to exist like it is what it is? I dunno. I only have one major problem with it unfortunately and that it is really shallow lyrically. The lack of variation in the song is disappointing in a specific way. You could loop it quite easily in a way that you could never know just how many times you have listened to the song which might be great if you are in to extended plays but now that I think about it, it might explain why I've seen a number of dance floors completely empty while this was playing. Perhaps folks have grown tired of hearing it? ====================================
