Monkeys, apes, and humans all stemmed from the same ancestor. Considering it a racial slur speaks more to one's oversensitivity than the intent of the character choice

Wtf. Did Zikten hack this account

Surprised he didn't mention "Neanderthal taint"

Maybe you guys lack the ability to read between the lines. But if you consider something an insult, it becomes an insult, in which case almost anything can become an insult, regardless of intent.

But if the intent wasn't offensive and something innocent, and we perceive it to be something innocent, then it's innocent and nobody is hurt.

I'm sorry that I had to explain this to you all

It's the fundamental flaw in language that definition is so malleable. You know how in meme culture, you can call somebody an animal for doing something insane? Is that a racial slur or offensive? Regardless of the history of say calling a certain race that of a primate to be offensive, that's in the past. If the present disregards a much less sensitive history and start changing the value of words, then we can reduce the amount of racial slurs in the world. If no words exist to insult somebody, then somebody can't be insulted. As long as you guys react in this way, this can't happen
