While Lucas is somewhat incompetent as a filmmaker and made a bad movie, at least he wasn't doing it on purpose to be a little troll like Rian Johnson did. He really did ruin all the potential the new sequels had. I thought The Force Awakens was a fine start of a new trilogy and wanted to see where it went, and Johnson shit all over that. Why shouldn't fans be upset with that?
