So it's been raining a lot today and I noticed the ceiling of my room is leaking. Worse yet, I fear the water may be dripping through the ceiling light fixture. My house was built in the 30s and I think the electrical work is just as old. I'm worried the leak is going to start an electrical fire. I bought a can of Flex Seal to spray the roof with tomorrow but in the meantime I put a bucket on the roof to catch the rain water (it's actually still raining right now). What should I do? I don't want to pay an electrician this close to Christmas.
