The only things they can be used for are the NES games that come with the online sub. Not selling them to anyone else means they miss out on the people who don't have a sub but want them for collection purposes, but those people are pretty significantly outnumbered by the number of people who don't realize that they're useless without the subscription and would whine and demand refunds after buying them and being unable to use them. I agree that restricting the sale of a physical product based on a digital subscription is kind of weird, but it makes perfect sense if you think it through. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
