Its asinine to release a sex offender yet make it effectively impossible to participate in society, have a job, have a house etc. Either you execute them/life without parole or try to rehabilitate them. Some half asked "fuck em. Toss em on the streets" approach is cruel and dangerous. How TF can you find a house that is not within 2000 feet of a park, bus stop, pumpkin patch/Orchard, apartment building, day care, school etc. unless you live on a farm or something. Plus the law sounds like it affects say someone who whipped his dick out drunk at some wild college party as much as someone who actually raped a kid. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
