Mark Turmell, one of the game's designers, remembers shortly after Petrovic's death (car accident) in 1993, one of the arcade cabinets glitched, repeatedly shouting "Petrovic! Petrovic!" It startled the people nearby, leading to a rumor the game was haunted.
