Speaking of, what is the best Isekai Obligatory robot answers: Aura Battler Dunbine Japanese teenage Sho Zama and his motorcycle get transported to Byston Well, a fantastic land with creatures, knights and the like. War soon breaks out between the kingdoms due to the machinations (and machines) of bad guy Drake Luft, leaving Sho and his friends as the only group who can possibly stop the mad dictator--and save not just one world, but two. ~~The ending is kind of a mind screw, but the fights are usually good, voice acting is solid and there's whole heaps of cute girls doing cute things. No pandering either, the story is pretty smart.~~ Along the same lines, there's also Escaflowne and Rayearth, featuring similar themes (fantasy robots) but more heavily tilted towards the girl's perspective.
