I REALLY REALLY don't see the demographic that famously never really took to Tidus despite his game's strength and seems to have turned hard against even a lot of nostalgic "edgey" characters encountering Kylo Ren at around age 30 and saying "Wow, this whiner edgelord guy is great." BB8 isn't much of a character in the first place and with no nostalgia it'd tank hard. Potentially worthwhile manga/anime characters really might just be DBZ guys outside of I guess non-game Pokemon characters. Think Naruto hit too late for the gamefaqs demographic to care about him. Sailor Moon, Yami Yugi, or Spike Spiegel would have potentially higher ceilings, though I think it's more likely they all collapse laughably than look respectable. --- [NO BARKLEY NO PEACE] [NO Advokaiser NO PEACE] ...
