He did fairly well but the Castlevania series gives him a pretty good floor and I think vampires being an enduringly popular thing and his position as THE iconic vampire gives him a lot of credibility. So I don't think his case should be generalized. The Lord of the Rings movies were big enough and well-liked enough that Gandalf could be good too, yeah. Harry Potter might be decent but I feel probably a majority of Harry Potter fans are female which is going to severely limit what he can do on gamefaqs.
