Unless they can magically rewrite a disc or show up to your house to steal it, there isn't anything they can do. If they wanted they could force an update that prevents the game from working. Kind of how konami and Sony forced PT to stop working even if you had it installed already. They haven't altered the data though. You'd only need to play offline, uninstall the update, or otherwise start fresh and it would work as it did previously.
