All matches are 24 hours, 2 matches a day, 128 characters bracket, unless otherwise noted.

1. Randomized Vote
Every vote is randomized. Basically you have the match pics and a button "Randomize My Vote" then it'll cast your vote to one of the characters in the match.

2. Middle Man
It's a three-way contest. However, the entrant who wins 2nd place will move forward instead of the 1st placer.

3. Losers Only
Only characters who have never previously won or survived a match in a GameFAQs Contest can enter the contest. (Other people on B8 have expressed this concept recently as well.)

4. All Fictional Characters
All fictional characters from all medium can be nominated.

5. One Vote per IP
Only one vote is allowed per IP THROUGHOUT the contest. So if you have voted this round you can't vote the next round.

6. Electoral Voter
Each GameFAQs board's vote will be represented by one user, whose vote will have different weight depending on the board's activity level and average active user count.

7. Oligarchy
Rather than voting, the mods and admin will discuss in a private board to come to a consensus of who should win the match.
