Most likely because as strong as that game is, it's still just one game, and Crono doesn't have any others. With a character like Link, it doesn't matter when you grew up, there was probably a Legend of Zelda game involved. If you're a kid now (not that anyone on this site is), there's Breath of the Wild. Teenager, maybe it was Skyward Sword. College kid, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Late 20s/early 30s? Lucky you, you got Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. And even if you're in your 40s, you might have played Zelda 1 as a kid. Crono? He was in one game that came out in 1995. A very beloved game on this site, but not as timeless as long-running franchises like Mario and Legend of Zelda. --- "Someday I'll catch up, and then you'll all be surprised!"
