Topic	What's the deal with American school lunches?

Ignoring the fact that many families make just enough to not qualify for food benefits, often the benefits they do get are still not enough even with careful spending. My mom knew how to stretch both food and money, and there were still times that I had very little to eat. I was extremely grateful for both school lunches and the program that gave lunches to kids at the park in the summer.
