Topic	I want Smash but I really don't need another system

I enjoyed Smash Bros when I was a kid but once I got to my teen years it just got extremely boring. I was kinda hyped for Brawl because I had a Wii and this was supposed to be one of the biggest exclusives, and only 15 minutes in I realized the game was boring. Like even with couch multiplayer it was fun for only about 15 minutes. I feel like Smash subsists purely on hype and Nintendo fandom. Brawl is not good, at least not as a fighter. 64 and Melee have much better gameplay, and on a competitive level they appeal to people well beyond their teen years. I can't say anything about Ultimate because it just came out and I haven't played it yet. Sm4sh was meh. Well I don't like competitive fighting games to begin with, and I found Brawl boring as a party game despite people considering it the most casual of the series. Yeah its because your playing brawl. Its not the most casual of the series but literally the worst game in the series. People just assume its casual because they are bad at competitive and ignore important details like how poke balls are either garbage or super OP, unlike 64 and melee where theyre either a decent assist or a huge help. Shitty to know they managed to fuck up online. When brawl released it was almost ok usually because well Nintendo sucks so fucking bad at making a usable online mode, but thats because they didnt listen and got overhyped on connectivity last gen, theyll catch up. Now here the fuck we are, nearly 10 years later and still have garbage online with problems that shouldnt be problems. What other game spawns in you in a mode you didnt fucking pick?
