Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it seems like there's a certain kind of brash attitude that's assumes more confidence than necessary in debated topics with him and that makes nuance feel disregarded. Similarly not trying to make an enemy here either. I don't think it was the best time to call out for this during the two times I've seen him called out for it, but I do see where you're coming from in general and am glad to see it wasn't just me.
