I always hated ralphie May Maybe I have a biased POV because I listen to a lot of standup comics' podcasts and hear a lot of inside baseball, but Ralphie was a genuinely good person with a heart of gold and a lot of pain...like most stand-ups, granted...but the dude never let his fame go to his head.
