back in my previous game I eventually got a lot of minor members of my dynasty asking to marry other dynasty members in my court, I guess because we had the highest prestige in the area?

That seems to always happen eventually, but especially with women looking for matrilineal marriages. I don't know if it's a prestige thing, or just because the game knows it can ask for a matrilineal marriage and it won't make a difference since we're the same dynasty.

With the conquest of Rovaniemi, I was able to usurp the title of Kingdom of Lapland at last. The last of the kings ex-vassals agreed to become my vassals peacefully. I gave the Kingdom title away to my loyal Chief of Kemi as a viceroyalty.

Meanwhile, my vassals on the eastern boarder of my country have been doing good work breaking down Kiev and theyve now made it to the Dneiper river without any of my help.

Im not sure what happened to Douglas Edwards to make him a Lunatic, and hes got so many other good traits! Also, he became friends with another Douglas Edwards.

Oh man, this guy Ive been trying to kill forever finally died in a war between himself and another vassal. Nothing of value was lost.

For reasons unbeknownst to me, the new Viceroy of Lapland decided he needed to wage a war in Cyprus!? Erm, anyway, I now have land in Cyprus. Thanks? (In hindsight, that Cypriot land was actually awesome because after looting the pope, I could land ashore on Cyprus to get my money and prestige, and then go back to looking, instead of going all the way around Europe)
