Again, depends on the context.

They're not all that far off from Catholics in that regard. Catholics aren't supposed to get divorced either, and if you do you can catch flack from other Catholics... but there are also multiple acceptable scenarios under which separation is allowed without censure. If anything, Catholics are actually stricter about it than Jehovah's Witnesses are - and Catholics have something like a 30% divorce rate for purely Catholic+Catholic marriages (and Catholic+something else have even higher odds of resulting in divorce).

And in both cases, even if you do "sin" by fragrantly committing a sin of frivolously getting married and throwing it away without just cause, there are multiple avenues to basically say "Sorry, my bad, I still want to be part of the secret club though" and be absolved of it.
