I see a lot of people say that, but I really don't see too many people complaining when somebody says this sort of thing is bad. The problem arises when all Muslims are painted as misogynists (or radically violent), because that sort of attitude hurts the many that are perfectly nice people. Provided you make sure the scope of your comment is correct, you aren't going to see too many complaints. Here, let me demonstrate:

This situation is stupid and wrong. Egypt should not have such a flagrantly misogynistic law that so oppresses and infringes upon the personal freedoms of its women.

I very highly doubt that I'll get modded for this. The trick is to say what you actually mean, rather than generalizing the sentiment inappropriately.

I've been modded on Gamefaqs for saying sentences exactly like that in the past. No "hate", no "flaming", no "trolling"....just criticizing misogynistic laws that stem from their religious/cultural values.

It's magically interpreted as "hate speech" or "racism" by a lot of people in 2018.

It just depends on how many whiny brats decide to mark your message for moderation.
