That being said I think there's a way to maintain that immersion even if it involves just making the movie closer to a two hour runtime and just filming what's there identically and putting a sort of prologue first that takes place outside the real time single shot to make you actually care about the main. But then it becomes less innovative and award baity, more easily assailed by critics who get low hanging fruit to criticize because now you can call it disjointed. --- No problem!
