The area I stay at isn't that bad mostly Hispanics though. Chinatown is located to the west of Houston on beltway 8 and Bellaire it's a nice are you can find decent homes for $180k-$250k on that area. I'm too lazy to draw out a map for you but it's a nice area. You get several main roads running on that area. Weather is crazy we get cold, rain, heat randomly at times. I can rent a 1br apartment in or near Chinatown in good safe areas for less than $1,000/month and buy decent houses in decent places for $250k or less? If you or anyone else can tell me all the good and bad areas that'd be great. I remember there was a mass flooding in Houston not too long ago. How often does that happen?
