28 Som frnamn fr endast frvrvas ett namn som inte
1. kan vcka anstt,
2. kan antas leda till obehag fr den som ska bra namnet, eller
3. av ngon annan anledning r olmpligt som frnamn.

28 As a first name, a name may only be vested if it does not
1. have the potential to cause offense
2. can be presumed to lead to discomfort to the one who is to bear the name, or
3. for some other reason is improper as a first name.

Swedish law sometimes gets it right.
