Yeah, no. Economics is a complex thing, if subsidies could never be useful, then a business loan must never get businesses off the ground. As it happens, a bit of cash injection allows necessary moves to be made to make sales more viable.

Economies that prop up a country can't be allowed to fail unless you want to surrender GDP leadership.
