Would you want to be a vocal butterfly about your past if you could relate?

Probably not, but the fact that I couldn't relate at all was a little alarming to me tbh

I never really thought about that type of stuff a lot or really cared much at all when I was younger honestly. I mean obviously I would like to have a girlfriend but it was never really something that I really cared much about. Been alone my whole life (in terms of relationships), so not being in a relationship was always normal to me.

It definitely hit me when one of the girls said something like "I went from a 5 year relationship with a boy to another 4-5 year relationship with another boy, I have to learn how to know myself now that I'm single."

And I remember thinking wow I can't even imagine thinking I don't "know myself" or whatever. But I guess a lot of people are like that, I know a ton of friends that are pretty much always in a relationship.
